Biodegradable wildlife habitat

ReHabitat Pods &
ReHabitat Plant Pods

Support wildlife after natural disasters such as bushfires and floods. Create wildlife habitat from day one of your tree planting, bush regeneration, ecological restoration, and revegetation projects.

The Challenge

Globally, biodiversity is in trouble. Year after year, habitat loss, fragmentation, and degradation lead to declines and extinctions in species after species.

Natural disasters such as fires and floods, driven by climate change, ravage habitats that have never previously experienced them. Wildlife that survive are often left in a desolate landscape devoid of cover from predators.

Our Solutions

ReHabitat makes flat-pack biodegradable cardboard habitat units that can be rapidly deployed to provide temporary refuge for ground-dwelling wildlife after disasters such as bushfires, floods, or logging. Think of them as emergency pop-up shelters for wildlife.

Best of all, they biodegrade away over approximately 12 months, with no negative impacts on the environment.

In 2025 we have launched our new ReHabitat Plant Pod - the ReHabitat pod for tree planting, revegetation, and bush regeneration projects. The ReHabitat Plant Pod is fully biodegradable, avoiding the need to retrieve plastic tree guards or risk plastic pollution in our environment.
